Specialty Access, Simplified
Connect your patients with credentialed specialty providers. Reduce costs. Stay compliant.
No acquisitions. No compliance risk.
Just expanded access.
ADMINISTRATIVE EXCELLENCE
We handle credentialing, compliance, and coordination so you can focus on patient care.
Specialty care shouldn't mean choosing between compliance and access
340B covered entities face an impossible choice: acquire practices with massive capital costs and operational complexity, or refer patients out and lose specialty drug savings entirely.
A compliant third path
Nexwell creates the administrative infrastructure connecting your covered entity to independent specialty practices. You maintain 340B eligibility. Specialists remain independent. Patients get care. Everyone stays compliant.
Patient Impact
A rural patient
Who can now see an oncologist via telehealth instead of driving 3 hours.
An FQHC patient
Who gets rheumatology care they couldn’t access before.
A safety-net hospital
that expanded specialty services without hiring a single new physician.

SERVICES
How We Support Your Organization
Network Access and Referral Coordination
Nexwell maintains a credentialed network of independent specialty practices across multiple clinical specialties. Each provider enters a written participation agreement requiring compliance with healthcare regulations, professional liability insurance, credentialing standards, and documentation requirements.
When your provider makes a referral, our platform matches the patient with an appropriate specialist based on clinical specialty, geography, insurance acceptance, and appointment availability. We schedule the appointment, track completion, and facilitate the return of clinical documentation to your referring provider.
This is referral coordination, not referral direction. Your physicians make the clinical decisions. We make sure the administrative pieces connect.
340B Program Compliance
Nexwell supports your 340B program with patient eligibility verification, documentation standards, and auditable record-keeping. We maintain your Medicaid carve-in/carve-out status, manage claims identifiers, and keep your payer lists current.
When HRSA audits happen, we help you respond. When manufacturer inquiries arrive, we coordinate data delivery. When compliance issues emerge, we work with you on corrective action.
Our goal is a 340B program that survives scrutiny and keeps generating value.
Credentialing Support
Every network provider undergoes primary source verification of medical licenses, DEA registrations, board certifications, and malpractice coverage. We screen monthly against the OIG exclusion list, SAM, and state Medicaid exclusion databases.
If we identify an exclusion or credentialing deficiency, we notify you within two business days and immediately cease referring patients to that provider.
No gaps. No surprises.
Telehealth Coordination
Nexwell negotiates and manages telehealth service agreements on your behalf. We ensure arrangements meet "under arrangements" requirements, comply with state licensure rules, and satisfy 340B eligibility criteria.
Your patients get remote access to specialty consultations. You maintain compliant program capture. We handle the contracting complexity.
Quality Assurance
Nexwell establishes performance metrics for every network practice: patient access standards, referral completion rates, documentation timeliness, patient satisfaction. We conduct periodic quality reviews and report trends quarterly.
When practices underperform, we address it through corrective action. When patterns emerge, we analyze root causes. When your leadership needs data, we provide it.
ABOUT
Who We Are
Aligned with Your Practice
Nexwell Health Partners was founded to solve a structural problem in 340B specialty care. Covered entities have the legal authority to capture savings on specialty drugs. But without owned practices or compliant referral networks, that authority generates no value.
Practice acquisitions require capital most covered entities don't have. Employed provider models create operational complexity. Contract pharmacy restrictions have closed the traditional pathway.
Nexwell creates a third option: administrative infrastructure that connects independent specialists to 340B covered entities without practice ownership, without employed provider relationships, and without compliance ambiguity. We are not a pharmacy, a drug wholesaler, or a clinical provider. We deliver administrative, technology, and compliance services. Our clients keep their 340B registration. Specialists keep their independence. Patients keep their access to care.
Our Model
Nexwell operates as a management services organization. We provide the administrative middle that connects two sides of a network.
On one side: healthcare organizations seeking specialty drug savings and expanded patient access. Critical access hospitals, DSH facilities, FQHCs, and other eligible organizations.
On the other side: independent specialty practices providing high-quality care in oncology, ophthalmology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, and other specialties. We build the network, maintain the compliance infrastructure, and coordinate the referrals.
Clinical decisions stay with clinicians. Administrative execution stays with us.
Compliance by Design
Every Nexwell engagement is structured for regulatory compliance from day one.
Our management services agreements satisfy the Stark Law personal services exception. Our fee structures fit the Anti-Kickback Statute safe harbor for management contracts. Our 340B procedures follow HRSA guidance. We maintain the documentation, conduct the screenings, and keep the records that demonstrate compliance.
When regulators ask questions, you have answers.
FOR HOSPITALS
Specialty Solutions for Hospitals
your drug pricing program captures value on primary care prescriptions. But specialty drugs represent 60% of total 340B purchases nationally. If your specialty referrals leave your network, those savings leave too.
Nexwell helps hospitals capture specialty drug savings without the complexity of practice ownership.
For Critical Access Hospitals
You serve rural populations with limited local specialty access. Nexwell connects your patients to credentialed specialists through coordinated referral pathways and telehealth arrangements. No capital investment. No employed provider overhead.
For DSH Hospitals
Federal DSH payment cuts are squeezing margins. Nexwell helps you offset those reductions by capturing specialty drug savings you're currently forfeiting. Our fixed-fee model means predictable costs against measurable returns.
For Safety-Net Systems
Your mission is serving vulnerable populations. Nexwell extends your capacity into specialty care without diverting resources from primary care services. Your 340B savings continue funding your community health mission.
How We Work with Hospitals
We start with an assessment of your current specialty referral patterns. Where are patients going? What drugs are being prescribed? What's the 340B opportunity cost?
Then we build the network. We identify independent specialists in your service area, credential them, and contract them into the Nexwell network. We configure the platform for your workflows and train your staff.
Once operational, we coordinate referrals, monitor compliance, and report performance. You maintain oversight. We handle execution.
FOR FQHCs
Expanding Specialty Access for Community Health Centers
Specialty Care for Your Patient Population
FQHCs provide primary care to underserved populations. But your patients need specialty care too. Oncology, ophthalmology, rheumatology, cardiology. When those referrals leave your network, patients face access barriers and your 340B program loses value.
Nexwell helps FQHCs extend their reach into specialty services.
Our network includes independent specialty practices committed to serving 340B patient populations. We coordinate referrals, verify eligibility, and ensure documentation flows back to your primary care providers. You keep your community health focus. Your patients get specialty access. Your 340B program captures the savings.

What Network Participation Means

You are not employed by Nexwell or the covered entity
You are not restricted in your prescribing decisions
You are not subject to clinical oversight from non-clinicians
